Paul's Story

Life I left the Montreal area in 1977 and joined the U.S. Navy. I was stationed in Great Lakes, Illinois for a year going to Basic Electricity & Electronics School. Then I was off to Holyloch, Scotland where I was a part of the Atlantic Submarine Fleet serving on various Nuclear Subs & the U.S.S. Holland (Submarine Tender). I got honorally discharged in 1980 from the Philidelphia Naval shipyards. Then I returned to Montreal and Worked at Canadair for 2.5 years and then moved to San Diego, California. I loved San Diego as there was so much opportunity at that time. I worked for Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical for 6 years building the AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter for the U.S.Army. Then I started working for General Dynamics on the Tomohawk Cruise Missiles And MD-II Jet in conjunction with Mcdonnell Douglas in Long Beach, Ca. Then in 1994, I moved to Tucson, Arizona and started working for Learjet/ Bombardier Aerospace who incidently bought Canadair back in 1990. I was working for a Canadian Company in Arizona. I worked on all the Learjet series aircraft, Canadair Challenger, Global Express and CL-300 until August of 2004 when all the jobs got transferred to Montreal and Kansas. My life took a drastic change on April 8/2001 when I was hit by a drunk driver between Phoenix & Tucson. I suffered a busted pelvis, 3 busted ribs, chipped tooth and a trashed 1995 Trans Am. The doctors said that I would never walk again! My attitude was "I don't think So" I seriously went to the gym everyday on crutches and continued my normal routine of working out and threw the crutches away and made all the doctors look stupid as I am walking fine today. My partner was murdered. I don't know why I survi...Expand for more
ved and why my partner died. The guy who hit us is doing 12 years in prison as it was his 4th offence. After the crash and all the crap that I received from Lawyers & Insurance Companies started leaving a bitter taste in my mouth about the U.S.A. I hung in there though even after I got laid off from Bombardier in August of 2004. Then in Febuary of 2005 as I was having too much of BUSH! I decided to move back to Montreal. So I completely re-modeled my house inside and out in Tucson and actually moved back to Montreal area on June 1/2005. I just sold my house in Tucson August 23/2005 and now live on 6ieme ave in Fabreville off of Boul St.Rose. On October 1/2005, Don't be shy to contact me as I have plenty of wild stories to tell! Very Important!!!!! If anybody knows the where Brian Rosseart is, please contact me. I consider Brian as one of my best friends and I lost contact with him years ago. I don't know if I have spelled his last name correctly or not (Rosseart). He went to Rosemere High School and lived on Thibault street in St Therese en haut. Then he moved to Mont St Hilaire and was going to school somewhere in Montreal. I think that I am going to freeze my this Winter! I will just have to get used to it and buy a Ski-Doo! Update in Sept/2009: I now live in New Castle, Delaware and have a camping trailer at Holly Lakes in Southern, Delaware that I spend week-ends at. I spend quite a bit of time with my boat fishing in Ocean City, Maryland. I now work for Keystone Helicopter (Sikorsky) in Pennsylvania. I travel around the work working on Helicopters. I have been to Brunei on the island of Borneo near Malaysia 3 times. Hong Kong 6 times, Norway, Denmark, and so on.
